I keep coming back to Europe for the variety of experiences it offers, sometimes within a single city or region: history alongside modern life, busy capitals and quiet streets, museums, vineyards, and stretches of coast where there is little reason to hurry.
Some trips start in a big city and gradually expand outward. Others stay within one region, with time to get to know it properly. After more than three decades of traveling here, I’ve learned that Europe rewards those who slow down and pay attention.
